The horse jumped at the audience

Leap of faith: Seven people have been taken to hospital after a riderless horse jumped over a fence and into a crowd of around 50 spectators at a popular carnival in Australia
Nobody notice the horse when the incident happened

The horse, without a rider, veered off course and jumped an eight-foot high brush fence into the crowd in Victoria.

Seven people have been taken to a hospital after a loose horse jumped over a high fence into a crowd of about 50 spectators during the Grand Annual Steeplechase in Australia.

The most serious injury was to a two-year-old girl, who suffered a fractured collarbone. Four of the injured were discharged after suffering minor injuries. Most of the other injured spectators were treated and released at the hospital.

'You could hear the crowd, there were shrieks and yelling as the horse went over the fence,' one eyewitness said. 'Then the horse went down the street – there were people running everywhere.'
